McGraw-Hill Construction, ReproMAX Alliance Set To Create Industry-Leading Local Market Reprographic Services, Integrated Technology Solutions For The Architecture, Engineering And Construction Marketplace

Partnership to Develop Single Set of Integrated Products and Services that Bring Increased Efficiency to Project Information and Document Distribution for General Contractors, Subcontractors, Architects, Engineers and Building Owners

NEW YORK, NY, May 11, 2005 - - McGraw-Hill Construction today announced a national agreement with ReproMAX Inc. to develop and market a set of integrated products and services to increase the efficiency of document management and distribution for the construction industry. The agreement will also provide improved collection of project information enabling even faster availability to the industry.

This new agreement leverages the expertise of both McGraw-Hill Construction and ReproMAX to provide valuable integrated solutions to help the AEC community better manage their business process workflow to become more productive and competitive.

This new partnership combines McGraw-Hill Construction's more than 100 local Plan Room Centers with the over 200 local ReproMAX facilities, creating the largest national network for document management and distribution available to the market. Recognizing that customers need access to both virtual plan rooms as well as local plan room/resource centers, this agreement provides customers with the ability to either order plans online for next day availability or visit their local Plan Room Center to view plans.

In addition, ReproMAX will also provide document scanning services to McGraw-Hill Construction enabling document availability via the McGraw-Hill Construction Network® sooner than ever before, adding even more value.

Both organizations are fully committed to helping the AEC community reduce costs and work more efficiently. As such, ReproMAX will also participate in marketing the all-new McGraw-Hill Construction Network® Bid Management Service, helping contractors seamlessly manage the critical bidding process, while saving them time and money by eliminating many, often redundant, manual processes.
